Like any product in the market, you are leery of quality and function. I have a 1930’s DeLeval Cast iron separator that I restored for use and to this day works smooth like a sewing machine. We decided upon a smaller unit that would be great in the kitchen. We have a Model #15 (red) plastic base, metal top. We use it daily. It works flawlessly and the manufacturing is amazing. All parts meticulously come together and function perfectly. Cleaning is very simple. I highly recommend this product for any small homestead or farm. Its worth every penny spent.
WE WENT THROUGH SEVERAL 120V MOTORS BEFORE WE SWITCHED. WE DO ABOUT 200 GAL A WEEK.IF YOU DO VOLUME, THE 220V MOTOR IS A MUST. THIS LITTLE CREAM SEPARATOR IS A DREAM WITH THE 220V MOTOR.
